Richard Manchester is passionate about all things Tow Law – he grew up in the area, went to school there and still lives and works in Tow Law.

He is in tune with what makes the town tick and as a local Labour candidate, Richard has a keen sense of the issues facing the area.

He is dedicated to making Tow Law and the hilltop villages one of the best places to live, work and visit in County Durham.

Richard plans to use his experience and connections gained from working for one of Tow Law’s most successful small businesses to help bring new job opportunities into the town, increasing prosperity across the division.

He has pledged to continue to be a leading figure in the fight against speeding drivers and bring in initiatives to tackle inconsiderate parking, particularly around the area’s schools.

“I will work tirelessly to ensure local community groups get the support they need to continue their great work,” said Richard. “I will work tirelessly to ensure Tow Law maximises its potential and continues to grow and develop.”

Richard also intends to press on with the hard work Councillor John Hart has done to improve and maintain children’s play areas, and work with community groups, parents and young people to provide events and entertainment for older children and teenagers.

A vote for Richard Manchester is a vote for a bright future for Tow Law.
